PopGrid Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

PopGrid is a block puzzle game for Android made by 14962095 Canada Inc., operating as Digital Commerce Lab ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is used when you play PopGrid, why, and the choices you have. We have kept it short and plain.

The short version

  • You do not create an account, and we never ask you to type in personal information such as your name, email address or phone number.
  • Your game progress is stored only on your device.
  • The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID and some device and usage information to show and measure ads.
  • The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count anonymous gameplay events, such as levels started and finished, so we can improve the game.
  • If you buy "Remove ads", Google Play handles the payment. We never see your payment details.

Information stored on your device

PopGrid saves your Adventure level, best Classic score, coins, boosters, daily reward streak, settings (sound, music, vibration) and whether you bought "Remove ads". This information stays on your device in the app's private storage. We do not send it to our own servers, and we do not have servers that collect it. Uninstalling the game deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

PopGrid is free to play and is supported by ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game may collect and share with Google:

  • your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers,
  • approximate location derived from your IP address,
  • information about your device (such as model, operating system and language),
  • how you interact with ads and the app (such as ad views and taps), and diagnostic information.

Google uses this information as described in its own policies. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

Ads in PopGrid are limited to content suitable for general and family audiences with parental guidance (rating "PG").

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, at any time in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).

Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the game is played and improve it, PopGrid uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google LLC. It collects anonymous gameplay events (for example a level started, completed or failed, a score at the end of a game, a booster used, an ad watched, and the in-app purchase), the screens you open, an app instance ID (a random number for this installation of the game), and device information such as model, operating system, language and approximate location derived from your IP address. We never log your name, email address or anything you type. We use this information only in summarised form, for example to see how many players come back the next day or how hard a level is.

Google processes this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics follows the choice you make in the consent form; without your consent, no app instance ID is stored and only anonymous counts are sent.

Consent in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before ads are personalized, so you can choose how your data is used for ads and analytics. You can change your choice later in the game: open Settings and tap "Privacy choices" (this option appears where the law requires it).

In-app purchase (Google Play Billing)

You can buy "Remove ads" to stop banner and full screen ads. The purchase is processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your name, payment card or billing address. The game only asks Google Play whether the purchase belongs to your Google account, so it can restore it after a reinstall or on a new phone.

Children

PopGrid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, please contact us and we will help remove it.

Your choices and deleting your data

  • Game data: it lives only on your device. Uninstall PopGrid, or clear its storage in Android settings, to delete it.
  • Advertising and analytics data: reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Uninstalling the game removes its app instance ID. To ask Google about data it holds, use Google's data and privacy controls.
  • Questions or requests: email us at the address below. We will answer within 30 days.

Security

Information sent to Google for ads, analytics and purchases is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Changes to this policy

If we change how PopGrid uses information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
